New Tools Tab Added to Device System Services (Ping • LAN Scan • Port Scan)

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update about Device System Services (version:2.6) — a new Tools tab has been added to the app, focusing on practical network diagnostics.

:new_button: What’s new?

A dedicated Tools section in the tab bar with:

:satellite: Ping

  • TCP-based ping on iOS

  • Configurable port, timeout, interval

  • Continuous or packet-limited mode

  • Real-time statistics (latency, packet loss)

:globe_with_meridians: LAN Scan

  • Discover devices on your local network

  • Shows IP address and basic device info

  • Fast and lightweight scanning

:magnifying_glass_tilted_right: Port Scan

  • Scan for open TCP ports

  • Custom port ranges

  • Useful for quick service checks

The goal wasn’t to turn this into a heavy network toolkit, but to add clean, practical diagnostics that fit naturally into system monitoring workflows.

If you’re testing servers, NAS devices, Raspberry Pi setups, or just checking your local network, this should make things faster and more convenient.

As always, feedback is welcome — especially from those who actively use these kinds of tools in real-world environments.
